Options as checkboxes

Make a copy of the order. template. Towards the bottom of that template, look for this structure:

 TEXT ELEMENT position 0 sequence set TEXT ": " SELECT name ELEMENT position 0 sequence set options ELEMENTS sequence set first 1 

This segment is responsible for putting up the drop-down menus for the options. You need to change this entire section to this:

 FOR-EACH variable opt sequence ELEMENTS sequence set first 1 TEXT opt INPUT name opt type :checkbox value "yes" LINEBREAK 

Your copy of the order. template is probably called from a copy of the page. template (if not, you'll have to make a copy of that template as well and make sure that it eventually calls your copy of the order. template.) To use the checkboxes, change the base template of each item in your store from page. to your copy of page.
